2015 Heat 2 - Congratulations to Pseudomorph, winners of Heat 2
What an amazing Heat 2, the levels of musicianship and talent we witnessed tonight were off the scale. 6 Awesome bands treated us to a truly magnificent show.
City Scriptures from Tavistock kicked off tonight's heat with a cracking set! Very confident, with some great musicianship.
A change of pace with second band, Exeter based Skyborn. Massive sound and they really had the crowd on their feet, very accomplished musicians.
Okehampton locals, Downfall were next with their first gig since winning the national Brand New Artist competition. Very confident set and treated us to some new material.
3 Piece Last Confession from Plymouth brought a different sound to proceedings with their unique sound and haunting vocals. Great set.
Next up, Pseudomorph from Plymouth. Hook in mouth riffs, thundering rhythm section and crowd pleasing showmanship led by their vocalist, they were the judges favourites - HEAT TWO WINNERS! They join Ten Zero One in the final
And finally, closing Heat 2, Lomi from Plymouth. THE riff kings! Fantastic set, loud and heavy, and there were in fact reports of quivering internal organs!
Pseudomorph will be joining Ten Zero One for the Party in the Park on the 1st August which is shaping up to be an epic finale. We'll be back again next week at the Charter Hall, Thursday 16th July at 7pm for Heat 3.
