Okehampton Battle of the Bands is the South West's premier Battle of the Bands competition boasting a 13 year pedigree. We welcome applications from acts of all ages and covering all musical genres. There are only two main rules - no signed acts and no tribute bands and every year the event gets bigger and better as it reaches a wider audience.

Okehampton Battle of the Bands and The Party in the Park is a community event organised by volunteers on a not for profit basis.

Exeter's Out of Enemies will be bringing us some heavy this year, they mention influences such as Killswitch Engage, In Flames, Lamb of God & 36 Crazyfists.
A 5 piece Indie/Electro/Punk band from Plymouth, who mention influences such as Weezer, Blue, The Clash, Metric.
A five piece energetic rock band that take influence from Priestess, ZZ Top, Foo Fighters, Maylene and the Sons of Disaster & Velvet Revolver.
This Progressive Folk Rock foursome take their influences from the likes of Pink Floyd, All About Eve, Marillion, Jeff Buckley.
All the way from Brighton, these 3 guys say the are influenced by Muse, Radiohead & Placebo.
